Privacy notice

This notice explains how Aduno Group Pty Ltd (ABN 85 702 746 049, ACN 702 746 049) ("Aduno Group", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through aduno.com.au and through enquiries you send us. Our office is Suite 1 / 86 Mann Street, Gosford NSW 2250. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

This website does not collect personal information itself. The contact form opens your own email app with the details you type. If you send that email, or write to us directly, we receive:

  • your name, work email address and organisation;
  • the answers you give about your users, your online shop and your current systems;
  • anything else you choose to include in your message.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Two services see technical information when you visit:

  • our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations;
  • the site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

Dealing with us anonymously

You can ask a general question without giving your name, for example from a personal address. We do need a way to reply, and we need to know who you are before we can scope work for your organisation.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, and prepare a scope or proposal you ask for. We don't use it for unrelated purposes. We won't send you marketing unless you have asked for it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our email and hosting providers, and only for the purposes above, or where the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Our email, hosting and font providers are global companies. Information you send us, and the technical information described above, may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard consistent with the APPs.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep enquiry emails while the conversation is open and for as long as we need them for our business records, then delete or de-identify them.

Access and correction

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Write to hello@aduno.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, write to hello@aduno.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Client data in an engagement

Data we handle for a client during an engagement, such as records in your ERP or Odoo database, is covered by the engagement agreement, not by this notice.

Changes

We will update this notice if how we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
